Just got an email that ended like this:
"I believe it is time to start shopping for a home J"
OH-EM-GEE!!! Is this finally happening?!? We have been working for months now on our credit and getting to where we need to be to start our search for our first home and we are finally there! I can see the light!
Excuse me while I enjoy this moment. I need to enjoy it now because I know this will be a long bumpy road. I'm embracing myself for it now that way if/when we are hit by some roadblocks or speed bumps the impact won't be so bad.
I would love any pointers anyone has that have been through this already or are going through this process right now. Buying your first home is kind of a huge deal...we would love to hear any suggestions for the process.

I can't wait for this day! We've been married 6 years and still rent... I'm hoping for spring now that our income is finally at a reasonable amount!! Good luck to you!! xo
